Located in the heart of Valencia, it has been an integral part of life in the city since its opening in 1928 and remains one of Spain’s most iconic markets.
The market was designed by architect Francisco Mora Berenguer with a stunning Art Nouveau façade featuring intricate ironwork, stained-glass windows and ceramic tiles depicting scenes from Valencian folklore. Inside, you can find over 800 stalls selling fresh produce, seafood, meat, and poultry as well as traditional souvenirs such as fans and pottery.
